Jigs can be viewed by anyone with access to the sharable link, scannable QR code, or an embedded view in your website.
They can also be set to be viewable only by approved logged in account holders. We call this visibility setting 'private'.
When users are invited to view content, the Jig will appear in their signed in account across the JigSpace apps for Windows, Mac, iPad, and iPhone.
Inviting users in your team to view your Jig
You can add invite your existing teammates to view your private content in two ways:
- Specify individual users one at a time
- Invite your entire team (which includes current and future team users).
Invite specific users:
- Click 'share' on the content you want to invite users to see.
- In the sharing panel, click 'Manage Access'
- Click 'Give Access' the user names you want to give access to.
Change permissions for existing users
By default, team users are given read-only access to view a Jig.
You can grant access to edit a Jig to a teammate from the drop down menu next to their name in the sharing panel. Team managers, or the content owner, are the only users who can change permissions.
Other important information for assigning editing or removing users:
- Jig files only support one concurrent editor. Granting access to a teammate to edit will make your own access read-only. To edit, you will need to make yourself an editor again.
- Removing users from viewing access to a Jig does not remove them from your team.
Invite an entire team:
- Click 'share' on the content you want to invite users to see.
- In the sharing panel, toggle the 'Share with entire team' to be active.
- Set allow re-sharing if you want other users to be able to edit or change these settings (optional).

To invite guest users outside your team to view your Jig content
Users on Organization subscriptions have the ability to invite guests to view private content.
Guest users will have temporary access to private content you share with them for 72 hours (3 days) and require a login to view. JigSpace will automatically email them with passwords and instructions to download the app and view the content.
Follow these instructions to invite a guest to view your content:
- Go to your account dashboard
- Navigate to your Jig content (My Jigs or Team Jigs)
- Click on the share icon next to the Jig you want to invite guests to
- Click 'Invite Users' in the panel
- Enter the email addresses of the guests you want to invite.
