Every JigSpace account has a team storage limit.
Free users can use up to 200MB in their Jigs to help evaluate JigSpace in non-commercial use cases. Typical 3D file sizes range between 5MB-20MB. Larger commercial CAD files may be up to 100MB, or even larger in some instances.
Paid Starter plans get up to 5GB, and Organization plans start at 10GB and can be customized to suit the needs of teams of 10 to 10,000 users.
Every piece of content imported to your shared team library, or added to a Jig, counts towards this total.
Frequently asked questions
What content counts towards file storage?
Any content you or your team mates upload into your team object library, or directly into a Jig file.
Specifically included are:
- CAD or 3D files like FBX, OBJ, STEP, STL, or SolidWorks files.
- Video files
- Images and texture files
- Audio instructions recorded inside the JigSpace app or uploaded
- Thumbnail images of your Jigs.
What happens when I reach my team storage limit?
You can still view your content, edit steps, text, and format your existing 3D objects. However, you won’t be able to add new content like CAD or 3D files, videos, images, or audio files.
To add more content, you can delete existing content or library objects to free up your storage, or increase your account storage by upgrading to a paid subscription.
Can I delete content to free up storage space?
Of course! It works just like the storage limit on your phone or computer. If you delete something, you will free up space for more.
To free up space, ensure you have deleted every place a file exists. For example: if you have a single 3D file in multiple Jigs, all Jigs need to be deleted to see the change in your storage.
Likewise if you have a 3D object in a Jig with 10 steps, but only delete it from a few steps, the storage will not change as it still exists in some of the Jig.
Do my team mates Jigs or uploads count to my total?
Yes. Your team storage limit is the sum total of you and your team mates shared uploads and usage.
