In order to make your Models appear more realistic you can now add Materials. These materials look true to life with natural levels of shine and roughness detail; with a large library of real world materials, including a wide array of metals, woods and plastics.
You can apply a material to an Object or choose to give the Sub-objects different materials. This can be great for making complex machines look realistic with distinctly different components.
Materials can be applied to any model, with or without a UV Map.
Add materials to your Objects
To add a Material to your Objects:
- Tap to select the Object.
- Press the Color tool {icon-colour.svg} on the toolbar.

- Edit the color using the Color Field and slider.
Replicate a materials Color
If you want this color to be the same throughout the Jig, you will need to copy this attribute using the Replicate tool.
To copy a materials Color across the whole Jig:
- Press and hold on the Color {icon-colour.svg}
- This will open the replicate tool.
- Select copy Across All Steps {icon-all.svg}
- This will copy the material and color attributes across your whole Jig.
