Hi there! We’ve got some very exciting news…
JigSpace and Jig Workshop are now ONE
As you may know, JigSpace was our very first app to hit the market. This app contained a library of awesome augmented reality content to help you learn in 3D - we call them Jigs.
Then, in 2019, we launched Jig Workshop, allowing you to create and share your very own Jigs.
Now… from Wednesday 10th March, these two apps will be merged into a single JigSpace app. This will allow you to explore and learn from our extensive Jig library, and create and share your own 3D presentations, all from the same app!
This merge will create a seamless experience between learning, creating and sharing - and don’t worry, there’s not much you need to do to facilitate this process.
What does this mean for you?
First things first - this merge does not mean any of your work is lost!
Any Jigs you have made in Jig Workshop will transfer and work seamlessly on the JigSpace app, and all edits or changes will be synchronised to your account — So there’s no chance of losing your masterpieces.
All usernames and passwords will stay the same and all of our paying users will also access Jig Workshop from this JigSpace app. Â
What do you have to do?
All you have to do is simply update the new JigSpace app (version 3.0.0) on your iPad or iPhone, login, and continue learning and creating. Or, if you’ve never downloaded the JigSpace app, go ahead and do so. To avoid confusion, we’d recommend deleting the old Jig Workshop app once you’ve downloaded or updated JigSpace - you won’t need it anymore.
If you’re a Jig Pro customer and use Jig Workshop on your laptop or desktop, we’ll have an updated build available very soon.
While Jig Workshop is still available on the App store, it will be phased out in the coming months, so don’t be shocked when you can no longer find it - just remember, all its features are now within the JigSpace app.
Finally...
We have some exciting new features within the new JigSpace app, like new, incredibly detailed 3D models in our library, and FBX file format uploads for our Jig Pro creators!
This merge is something we’ve been working hard on, and we’re so excited to share the single best place to create and share knowledge in 3D — JigSpace.
